We also use a halogen cycle to keep the tungsten where it belongs—on the filament—which means the lamp lives longer. As for the setup, it’s dead simple. We use standard R7s or Sk15 connectors. No rewiring, no headache. You just plug them in and get back to work. And if you want to be really efficient, we have coated versions. They narrow the IR spectrum so the energy actually hits the PET instead of just heating up the machine frame.
