The nitty-gritty on specs It mostly comes down to three things: voltage, wattage, and length. Take our 400V high-voltage tubes. They pack a lot of power into a small space. If you’re running a high-speed line, you need that heat to hit the preform fast so it softens up without ruining the neck. And we’re obsessive about the length. Like, really obsessive. If a lamp is off by even 2mm, it sits crooked in the reflector. Once that happens, your heat distribution goes sideways, and you start seeing thin spots in your bottles. Nobody wants that. What’s inside (and why it matters) We use high-purity quartz glass and halogen gas. The halogen does the heavy lifting here—it keeps the tungsten filament from evaporating too fast. That means your glass stays clear instead of turning dark and losing efficiency over time. As for the connectors, we stick with the classics like R7s and Sk15. They’re the old reliable workhorses of the industry. When you plug them in, they stay tight. That’s key, because a loose contact leads to arcing, and arcing is a fast track to a burnt-out socket. A quick heads-up for the real world These lamps are built for high-cycle production, but there’s a catch with high heat density. If you’re shoving a 2500W tube into a tight housing, your cooling fans have to be up to the task. If the airflow drops, the quartz will overheat and pop. Just keep an eye on your fans. The best part?
